Summoner's Rift On both Classic maps, the primary goal is to destroy the enemy Nexus. Defending each Nexus are several turrets and inhibitors; each structure must be destroyed in sequence (one cannot skip straight to the Nexus). There are many ways to destroy turrets: making use of the automatic minions to take the brunt of the turret's fire or focusing it with several teamates while a tank draws aggro are a few of the many methods of destroying turrets while minimizing casualties. After the turrets have been destroyed, the inhibitors defend the Nexus. They does not attack but are a vital part of winning. Destroying them will allow their respective lane to spawn super minions, powerful beings that can crush ordinary minions with ease. Ranked games A ranked game is a draft mode game type available to level 30 summoners with at least 16 champions available. Summoners are placed on a game ladder and ranked against one another according to a publicly displayed Elo rating of ratings over 1250. Any rating under 1250 are considered "unranked". Players who have not played their first 10 "placement" games will not be able to see their elo in their profile until the 10 are played. Ranked games are considered the competitive alternative to normal games.Ranked games are playable in both the 3v3 and 5v5 bracket. In the 3v3 bracket, you must queue as a complete team consisting of 3 players. In the 5v5 bracket, you can queue as a full team consisting of 5 players, as a duo queue with 1 other person, or as a solo queue. Statistics are recorded for ranked games by the type of queue that you initiated the game with.Premade: In team-based ranked play, a player will have to set up a 3-man and 5-man team with which to play for 3v3 and 5v5 matches respectively. In order to participate, you must be a member of a ranked team, which can be formed by any level 30 player. This is done through the 'Create a Ranked Team' button on one's profile.Non-Premade: In non-team ranked play, a player will be able to either play solo, or in a two-man team. This is only available for 5v5 matches. Co-op vs AI Co-op vs AI is a mode of play where a team of five human players are matched against a team of five AI-controlled players, also commonly known as bots. You can play co-op on The Crystal Scar (Dominion mode) or Summoner's Rift (classic mode). There are two difficulties to pick from, Beginner and Intermediate. A player can either play alone or invite his friends to join him. If the composed team has less than 5 players, the matchmaker searches for other players wanting to play at the selected difficulty. The co-op matchmaker works similiar to normal games, but considers the players level instead of their Elo Rating. First Win of the Day IP bonus is available and Elo Ratings are not affected.Co-op vs. AI rewards are slightly higher than custom games but lower than normal games or ranked games. Here are the current rules for Co-op vs AI rewards:Level 15+ summoners are limited to 180 reward minutes per day, after which you gain no IP or XP. This is a shared pool of minutes for both custom games and Co-op vs. AI.The following modifiers are applied based on summoner level and bot difficulty setting.
